hello everyone. im using toshiba satellite L840 4GB RAM, AMD graphic card, 1TB hard disk, and running on windows 7 OS. i also have a WD 500GB external hard disk. i downloaded kali linux iso and used universal USB installer to make kali linux ISO bootable. i want to install Kali linux on my WD external hard disk. i formatted my WD hard disk. restart my computer and install kali linux to my external hard disk. when prompted for GRUB, i chose to install it on my external hard disk and not my internal hard disk and/or MBR. the installation went well. i restarted my computer to boot my external hard disk. after i press f12 and chose WD hard disk from the boot menu, it quickly pops out a black screen and blinking cursor (underscore). keyboard cannot be used and makes beep sound when press any key.
Help me please. just started to use linux and this is first time. thanks in advance for the help.
