I've been messing with my Kali install and different desktop environments. When installing Cinnamon from the repos everything works fine apart from the screensaver/lock screen (when logged in as root). The functionality works fine as a normal user. Does anyone have any inspired ideas on how to get this working? I'm assuming there is a way as the default Gnome interface locks fine.
