Conky lags, whats wrong?

Hey guys,

i am student from Germany, so sorry for my bad english.

Yesterday I heard from "conky". I tried to install it but it already lagged ****.
Today i set up kali completly new and tried again (apt-get install conky conky-all).
Conky works, but when I start the conky-manager und try to take another "Design", it laggs extremly.
What I mean is, that it dont refresh the Screen! And often it looks like in the Screenshot.

I am using the newest kali.


Can somebody help me please?
