Hi !
i have followed your guide on a persistent kali linux usb install and everything went fine. In my previous installation i run out of disk space after few hours i show you the df output:
Code:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
tmpfs 413692 6276 407416 2% /run
/dev/sdb1 3244000 3244000 0 100% /lib/live/mount/medium
/dev/loop0 2940160 2940160 0 100% /lib/live/mount/rootfs/filesystem.squashfs
tmpfs 1034228 0 1034228 0% /lib/live/mount/overlay
aufs 1034228 61488 972740 6% /
devtmpfs 10240 0 10240 0% /dev
tmpfs 1034228 84 1034144 1% /dev/shm
tmpfs 5120 0 5120 0% /run/lock
tmpfs 1034228 0 1034228 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
tmpfs 1034228 16 1034212 1% /tmp
tmpfs 206848 24 206824 1% /run/user/0
/dev/sdb2 79602 75844 3758 96% /media/root/Kali Live
As you see dev/sdb1 is mounted and also dev/sdb2 which is the fat16 filesystem i got from copying the kali iso by dd.
I don't see the persistence partition dev/sdb3 . That's why in my previous install i run out of disk space i suppose.
What's missing in my install ? Shall i add something to etc/fstab ? If so what's the direcory i should mount ?
What am i doing wrong ?
Thanks a lot for any help !
