I have attached a picture to clearly show on my top panel the "Application" and "places" are gone
after an attempt to install Java application, the screen went black, and for an attempt to restore it I managed to stuff this up
I have no mean to access my application except through search
how can I get the application menu back
as it shows on the pic only activities are visible
