First timer here at Kali Forum.
I have weird problem that I encountered during installation process. I am missing a username creation step during installation. I looked at the installation steps and try 3 times already, and the results are still the same so after the completion of installation, I am stuck on login.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Kali uses root by default.
Kali's setup will only ask you to set the root password when installing.
You will not create another user during the setup.

Thats the problem I experienced. Username isnt configured on set up. First start up it asks for a user name and password. Password was configured at set up time.
So enter username of what?
Password is what you set up on install correct?
