Sharing Internet Connection (wifi to eth)

I used to share my Internet connection to my Xbox360 without much problem using Kali 1.1
It was as simple as this short Youtube video *Youtube*

Upgraded to Kali 2.0 sometime ago and have recently wanted to share my connection much like I did before.
Now when I goto network settings and try to configure my ethernet there is no "shared to other computers" option

I can't figure it out... Any help would be much appreciated, Nem

i had the same problem. you must not think of kali linux shared ethernet but the newest Gnome network manager.
    here is a link https://major.io/2015/03/29/share-a-...in-gnome-3-14/

You could try just bridging the two interfaces together using NAT routing and iptables.

sry maybe its a missundestanding. i only followed this step and the rest was normal to the old kali linux.

    terminal. Type nm-connection-editor

so... i start with a fresh kali linux and no established internet-ethernet conections (ethernet to a router). so you can make a for all time shared connection.

boot kali linux. login as root.
start the terminal and type the folow comand in

    nm-connection-editor

now a new windows pop up and there you select your ethernet connection and press edit.
in the new window you go to the ipv4 tab and Choose Shared to other computers in the Method drop-down menu.

    thats all for ethernet.

maybe a restart for kali linuix.

so you can connect now normaly you wifi. the rest ist automatic

and sry for my bad english. ^^ i hope you can unterstand it well
