TP-LINK TL-WN823N or TL-WN722N

Hi Guys.

I am looking to buy an new USB adapter to use with Kali. I an looking at both models below. I like the 823N because of the size. I know the 722N is ok with Kali from what i can see and will work with airodump-ng etc.

Will the 823N be ok as well?

TP-LINK TL-WN823N

Or

TP-LINK TL-WN722N

Hi WallaceTech,

First of all this is my 500th post and it is a tradition here to buy a pony/horse to whom ever answers you with that 500th post. So you now have bigger problems than simply choosing between two adapters.

But then why choose? Get them both and report back about the TL-WN823N I mean if a dongle would be 200usd, then it would be a different story, but at 16usd (?), even if it is not capable of injection/monitor, that looks like a nice surfing device. Or maybe you already have other wireless adapters for surfing only?

The TL-WN722N is not that big and alot smaller than the Alphas, so if must choose, TL-WN722N all the way to Brooklyn. It has an antenna and signal reception/immission is everything.
