Error installing USB wireless antena rt3070/2870

i've bought this antena a few days ago, but i keep having problems installing the drivers, I blacklisted the generic ones, but i keep getting an error when trying to compile new driver before installation.

I don't know why you use driver installation for rt3070 in Kali when Kali is "plug and play" for rt3070.
I am using cards with this chipset for a long time w/o any installation

ty for your answer, im a bit noob on all of this driver installation on linux, i am trying to install rt3070 drivers cause its the recomended driver for the antena, but linux distro automaticly assaings the rt2x00 driver, and i thought that i might not get all the effectivity and connection i could have with the drivers recomended. correct me if i am wrong, would the power increase with the correct drivers?

you don't need to install anything for this chipset and everything will work fine including increasing tx power....

anyway, i'de like to try with rt3070 ones cause i currently have rt2800 and i get error on connecting cause of the lack of signal power, i dont know if its there a way or something to make improve connection stability. so im looking forward to any compiler guide to install that drivers, cause via automated "make" commands i cant

anyway the wireless came with a bootable os but the other os directly dosent dettects it cause of drivers, so thats why im so intrested to get this to work at max power, if not waste of money
