Airodump-ng wlan1mon shows no ap

Im using a kali linux 2.0
I have airmon-ng start wlan1 and put wlan1 into monitor mode
After that I airodump-ng wlan1mon and it does not detect any network but the channel changes
I have a Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network Adapter in built into my laptop
I've search for many solutions online but none helps

I'm sorry but the solution above does not help too. Just wondering why do I have wlan1 and wlan0? Is it normal to have 2?

if you have two adapters it is normal or if you enter into monitor mode and exit it is normal.
p.s. try some other tools like Wifite

Also whenever I restart my kali linux or start it up, my airmon-ng shows no interface and I have to always re download the compat-wireless. Is there anyway to make it permanent on my kali linux?
