Kali 2.0 installation can't find disks of a HW RAID

    Hi All,

I am trying to install Kali 2.0 on a Cisco UCS with a single disk configured as RAID0, but when the installation gets to the disks partitioning phase, it can't find the disk, and what I get is a blank line instead of the disk layout table.

It looks like the problem is that the installer thinks thare is a software raid installed so it is looking for LVM's instead of physical disks ( it should have found /dev/sd* that the HW raid externalized as a physical disk ). See the attached syslog that I saved from the installation.

I tried all kind of things but nothing seem to work, so I wonder if someone found a way to overcome this problem?

    Many thanks,

    Oren

Why don't you try this steps:
    - Remove RAID
    - Install Kali
    - Establish RAID
    also good link is
