Thread: Grub looks all jacked up in Kali 2.0

Question Grub looks all jacked up in Kali 2.0

I've got 2 Kali 2.0 installs, one is a VBOX install on my main pc, other is a stand-alone install on a Dell e6410 laptop.

On the VM, grub looks perfect; its blue, partial screen, and you read the choices with no issues.

On the laptop it looks messed up. Its huge, pretty much fills the screen, and has a bunch of red in it. It works fine and once you get past the grub gui everything works perfectly. No graphics issues in Kali once booted (login screen also fine) . Video is Intel so don't think that's the issue.

    Any ideas?

    Could you upload a screenshot?

Also, check/compare the both grub.conf file

Not sure how to get a screenshot prior to login... Guess I could take a pic with a phone
