    You can also change the time from the GUI by clicking the date at the top of the screen, then Date & Time Settings.

    Probably your timezone is wrong. Again, linux basics!

    So, just choose a timezone thats 1 hour ahead. for eg, if you are GMT+2, set it GMT +3

    Try going into settings and selecting date and time, then turning off 'Automatic Date & Time' and 'Automatic Timezone'. It should allow you to manually change the time. Then close the window leaving those automatic options turned off.

    This worked for me, hope it does for you as well.

    I'm also facing this issue, finally I installed ntpdate and run it by giving my-country-ntp-server. It solve my problem.
    Code:
    $ sudo apt-get install ntpdate
    $ sudo ntpdate in.pool.ntp.org
