    Direct install, live or VM??

I'm interested in playing around with Kali and seeing what things to do with it... For now I have it on a live USB and boot into it.. But was wandering what would be better to keep p using it from the live USB or installing... If. Installing as a multi boot system? I use debian sid 64 normally.. Or its better recommended to run in Debian through VMware
..just ask because in most tutorials they have Kali on VM...

Hi Fotorebelion, I'm writing this because I want to ask you for a question. I'm new here, so I don't know how any of this installation works, and I saw a lot of installation tutorials. My question is, is there a Live option which allows you to work withouth installing? Or is the Installation a MUST?

you can use Kali in many different ways. It is depend of what do you want to accomplish.
you can use Kali Linux in Live mode, on VB/VM, you can install it on hdd, even on usb.
if you want to learn then install it on hdd. If you want to use it for some other reason then use it in live mode or on VB/VM
how to do it read here on forum
