Where does Metasploit save with Kali live

I am using Kali live and it says it saves the exploit to root / msf4 something but I cannot seem to see it. Is it different running it live compared to a USB ?

A bit off topic, but the default resource file goes there as well. If you've got stuff that needs to run on msfconsole start up, just create /root/.msf4/msfconsole.rc and put your metasploit commands in there.

I use it to set my threads, local host, and local port...very handy
