Add a jar file to favorites bar

Hi there
The BurpSuite I got in the package was outdated
so I got a new version and that is a jar file

How can I replace the new one with the one in the "Favorites Bar"?
tried 2-3 ways with no success...

I'm a newbie with linux/kali

Edit the shortcut to :
sh -c "java -jar <location of burpsuite here>.jar"
