I am running Kali Linux version 2.0.1 on my Raspberry Pi 2.

Kali Linux won't let me change the resolution of my monitor. It's 1184x624 right now. Here is the monitor I'm using [7" TFT external display][1]. It says on that webpage that my monitor is compatible with the Raspberry Pi 2.

I tried following the [Instructions on Raspberry Pi 7" HD 800*480 TFT LCD Screen Display Settings](http://www.sunfounder.com/index.php?...Raspberry%20Pi), and the results I got are shown in the screenshot.
