Fit in to or become updates for Kali?

Haven't checked the Kali docs in awhile, but as I recall, the Kali repos include Debian updates, as well as Kali-specific stuff (tool updates).
So, when you do an apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade, you get everything available. The Kali documentation goes into more detail.
