I just burned v2016.1 to CD, tried install on a Dell D820 (Windows 7 install trashed by user irreparably), and I select either Install or Install by Graphical interface, and it lets me select the country and language etc, then it says it has to install CD-ROM drivers and suddenly can't read the CD-ROM or install drivers for it.

Any explanation? I noticed it seemed to have trouble mounting the drive.

Also, the laptop's touchpad will let me move the pointer around but doesn't respond to taps for clicks; I have to use the hard buttons below the pad. I've noticed this on a lot of recent versions of Linux on several laptops, where older versions of Linux, live boot anti-malware scanners, or SystemRescueCD worked fully with touchpads.
