    kali 2 x64 would break if run "dpkg --add-architecture i386" and update?

    Hi,

    good day, I would like to ask if kali 2 x64 would break if run "dpkg --add-architecture i386" and update? is it safe to update?

    yes it is safe.
    you can add this architecture i386 to install some multiarch program like
    Skype,Teamviewer...
    only you have to know that apt-get update will update both arch
