Hello
I have surface 3 that I would like to install Kali Linux on and I'm facing problem in booting, what I did exactly is
-Partition hard drive to make extra drives (one 19 GB one 1 GB)
-Disable secure boot
-Followed this article https://community.spiceworks.com/how...on-surface-pro (I changed UUID in grub.cfg to my surface UUID)
-Used graphical install (non Persistent mode or other options cause “oh no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can't recover. All extensions have been disabled as a precaution” error)
-Mouse/keyboard and touch not working so I used USB mouse and keyboard
-No ethernet interface detected (no download for network mirror
and GRUB boot loader)
-It asked for non-free firmware file (mrvl/pcie8897_uapsta.bin) that I have to provide
-Used manual partition disks (the 19 GB is Ext4 journaling file system “I tried setting bootable flag on but it stays off” and the 1 GB is swap area)
After that it says install is successful but after booting nothing and inside Windows it says the two drives need to be formatted I really need help thanks
