Hi there

I've tried to find information regarding the newest 2016.1 rolling release, however most of the entries were mentioning 1.0.8+ until 2.0.

Would it be possible in the meantime to create a Live USB Stick with persistance enabled (which went quite well on a MBP Retina mid 2012 btw.), and keeping it up to date with apt-get without dd'ing the whole image from time to time again for this purpose?

My current state of information is: it is possible to some extent (for most additional packages), however updating the kernel isn't really possible and the whole procedure could result in diverse errors – therefore it's not recommended.

So I was wondering if it's still the case with the rolling release scheme?

And if not, could/would it make sense as a feature request for the future?

Thank you all,
Cheers
