Question Issues detecting wifi adapter - using Kali VM in Docker

    Hello.
I only discovered Kali yesterday and I have been trying to learn a bunch of stuff.
However, the problem is Kali cannot detect my laptop's network interface card since it can't use the hosts default one and instead created eth1 instead of wlan.
So, apparently docker is able to use the host's network interface card in order to connect to a wireless network inside the virtual environment.
I am running windows 10 for your information.
Could somebody be kind of enough to talk me through the steps on how to run Kali without duel booting?
    Thanks.
(I'm relatively new to this so I may not know the most complicated terms)
