DoS tools like LOIC for Kali?

I have downloaded Kali for one reason, and that would be to make my wifi as secure as possible. I was using LOIC before, then I decided Kali would better suit me for my tasks. I have been trying hping3 and it doesnt seem to do much/anything at all, not sure if Im using it right or what the problem is. For now I would love any programs that are capable of TCP/UDP floods, like LOIC. Thanks for any help.

For wireless DoS, the mdk3 tool will do the trick. Depending on what you're needing to do, SlowHTTPTest, and the THC-IPv6 tools may work as well.

I have to add this word of warning: take care with DoS tools...it's really easy to blast the wrong networks!!
