Question Kali Linux also for general use and day-to-day life

I am new to Kali and this Linux distro is amazing for me. I am improving my skills doing some pen testing and trying some forensic techniques.

But I also have to write some reports using Libre Office, doing some development on Eclipse, sometimes wanna listen to some music on Spotify or stay in touch with friends using Skyper or Slack.

Is it ok to install and use these apps on Kali or are they producing to much noise? Should I install Ubuntu/Fedora next to Kali or is it ok to stay just with Kali?

    Best,

    Marcel

    Hi Marcel,

use Kali at the way you want
you don't need any other Linux for some other tasks
do not bother yourself is it ok to use Kali in way you use. Just use it
off course if you want to install some other distro you can always do it.

    Cheers,

I put Libre Office on Kali to assist with reporting & presentation tasks, but that's about it. Like duxim says, feel free to use Kali any way you like

However, since Kali is not a "stock" distro, adding software from non-Kali repos will likely cause you problems.
