Although I've managed to set up Kali 2 on Raspberry Pi B+ and everything is working as it should, I'm still left wondering how best to set up my desktop to make life easier.

All I have on there at present is a waste paper bin,

If you go on Youtube and ask this question you wont get any answers as they all know how to set up Kali on Raspberry Pi, but nothing else.

You'd think by now someone would have made a manual or at least a PDF on what to do with Kali after you got it to work on the Pi.

I don't mean going out on the net and causing mayhem (I've got a couple of books for that), but doing the domestic chores you would normally do on a desktop computer after re-installing the operating system.

Maybe its straight forward for kids to get it set up just right with icons all over the desktop, but at 72 its as much as we can do to get Kali onto the Pi and get it to boot up for the first time.

Is there a guide to all of this which stops an old man bickering all the time.

Many thanks.

Michael.
