nm-applet in Kali 2.0 is garbage. Disconnects all the time from multiple APs I have tested.

It continues to automatically associate with SSIDs that I have explicitly told it not to (even after having entered the wrong PSK to prevent this)!

Forgets PSK for APs that it has connected to previously.

Seems to see "ghost networks" that were in a previous location that are no longer available. A "service network-manager restart" and "killall nm-applet - nm-applet" doesn't fix this, you actually need to reboot the system! Then it suddenly identifies the correct WiFi networks in your area.

This is not a hardware issue. Atheros, Broadcom, whatever, with all of them it's the same story.

What happened to UNIX philosophy do one thing do it well yada yada ya? Devs should move away from this junk for next release!
