Angry [VirtualBox] Kali Linux black screening after selecting install/graphical install

Hello guys I searched everywhere for my exact issue nothing has helped at all.

I have the latest Kali and Virtualbox.

I looked up many videos setting them up and followed exactly what they did and I still black screen.

I have a windows 7 (if that matters?)

Exact issue: I set up everything, start the machine, select graphical install or normal install then black screens. No text, nothing. Just straight up black screen!
NOTE: I also noticed my Debian only shows 32 bit but the videos select 64 bit? I also looked it up they said go in bios and select 64 bit but I went in bios and have nothing about changing my bit or anything. like all i can do is change my time, put password and nothing much to it :C

download an install VB on your computer
then download image you want (32 or 64 bit) to install from this page:
look in "Prebuilt Kali Linux VirtualBox Images"
    https://www.offensive-security.com/k...mage-download/
check sh1sum when you finished your download
extract those 7z file. it is ovi file
then from VB go to File--->Import Appliance and navigate to extracted Kali ovi file
and just wait for a while
on logon user is root, password is toor

    and that is all

I was just going to post the same problem here, instalation went without a problem but when it comes to booting the VM its just a black screen. Before the blackscreen I can see a flash of some info but its just for like 0.1 sec so I cant read anything there. I will try to install that ready VM from the site above but still , i'd like to make it by myself.

Hello! I actually remember seeing the Virtual Images on kali.orgs download page and I downloaded the 32 bit for VirtualBox (i tried this before my post even got up cause it has to be reviewed first)

Basically I opened up the .ovi file and it took few minutes to set up in VirtualBox and then this happens.
It freezes here, it freezes on the regular install and in the advanced area as well.

try then with less ram on VB (1,5 gb is recommended) , and close all programs in Windows that "eat" memory and cpu.

p.s. did you check sha1sum is it ok?
    p.s.2 don't ask how

    1.5gb = 1500 MB so I did that.
Checking the sha1sum guessing it's seeing if those things match and yes the did match.

Let it ran for 45 minutes it still says Loading please wait....

Same here. Any fix on this??

Edit: AFTER i checked virtualization in bios. It all worked. Try it out, if some still has these issues. Worked good for me. I just had to import it again in virtualbox after the bios thing..

Once I had loaded the vbox image I had to select the kali image in Virtualbox and click settings. Under General tab the version was set to dabian 64bit I had to change it to Linux 2.8 / 3.x / 4.x (64 bit) and then click ok then I started the VM and worked flawlessly
