    Can't Partition and Install Kali on Hard Disk

    When I try to install. It doesn't show me partition that I have newly created. It wants to partition whole disk and remove all data.

    I am trying to fix it since 2 days but I simply can't. Things are too confusing. I have Windows that runs good, but I can't install any Linux. GParted shows an error, that overlapping of partitions is not allowed.

    Below is the output of: sudo fdisk -l -u /dev/sda

    Code:
    Disk /dev/sda: 160.0 GB, 160041885696 bytes
    255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 19457 cylinders, total 312581808 sectors
    Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
    Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
    Disk identifier: 0x00000001

       Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System

    You mean deleting a partition and making free space? I have did this by Mini Partition Tool but free space doesn't appears while installing kali. only shows hard disk as whole

    Yes I followed that guide. In GParted it shows my whole hard disk unallocated.
