Kali Linux on android: can't get into root

So, I recently installed Kali Linux to my android phone using Linux Deploy. Everything looks working, except I can't go to the root and download new utilities. It writes "Permissoon Denied". Any help would be appreciated. Also, I tried reinstalling this Linux, but it didn't help.

Are you installing actual Kali or NetHunter?

If you are trying to install Kali you may want to try NetHunter instead. It was made for this purpose: getting Kali an Android devices

If you are already trying to install NetHunter you are in the wrong forum and it doesn't sound like you've found the correct install instructions. There is a section of the forum dedicated to install instructions (they are different than what you are doing).
