Using Virtual Machine with Live ISO mounted + VMDK for persistence

    Hey guys,

I was wondering because I can´t find any information about this scenario: I would like to have multiple VMs (VMware Workstation 12) who all share a Kali ISO readonly(http://cdimage.kali.org/kali-2016.1/...16.1-amd64.iso) and use a 2GB partition on a VMDK disk as persistent space.

Is there a way how this can be achieved?

    Thanks a lot!

    Myngo

I could solve it by myself:

Somehow the partition was not named "persistent".

    now it works fine.
