Hello Need Help! Urgent! its KILLING ME :-(

First of all I am a bit new to Linux systems.
I got an old laptop a 32bit system. and had the idea of installing Kali Linux Rolling to it.
I got it installed properly without any problems
Then the VGA quality was a bit slow ect compared to windows I had earlier
So I I wanted to install NVIDIA drivers for it.
I tried going through almost all types of forums ect ended up getting failed results which ended up keeping on installing and updating the system all over and over again please help me with this.

The main procedure I followed

apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install*-y*linux-headers-$(uname*-r)
apt-get install*nvidia-kernel-dkms

sed*'s/quiet/quiet nouveau.modeset=0/g'*-i*/etc/default/grub
update-grub
reboot

I ended up getting Oh no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can’t recover please log out and try again. Tried rebooting again many times but didn’t help. It is displayed in the pictures I have attached.

I also tried to download the exact driver from Geforce.com
http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/95153
and followed there instruction. Also I had my nouveau driver blacklisted. Then after booting at login screen it started to flicker continuously.

Trust me I’ve tried all the methods available in forums but ended up with same result.
I have also tried this as well
http://www.blackmoreops.com/2014/03/...er-kali-linux/

also I have reported in kali-linux bug tracker. But still no response at all

One thing I noticed was after installing nvidia drivers and get the white screen error. The graphics were pretty smoother and responsive than before.

My specs are mentioned bellow.
