Okay, so I've used kali linux before, but it was on another pc, where UEFI wasn't used. I've been trying to get it on my new computer but i have failed. I have tried using https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...all-Kali-Linux I did not set up a partition because I just want to do it live. So, i go to cmd and type in shutdown /r /o -t 00 and boot from my drive. Grub opens, but i cant use any of the options because i get an error. 2 errors actually. One being that it cant read filesystem, and the other being "you need to load the kernal first" no rescue option is given either. I dont know much about grub so i just copied and pasted the text from the tutorial mentioned earlier and put that for grub.cfg. do i need to set up a partition? does that fix the filesystem error? also do i need to edit anything in grub.cfg? also i cant find any solution to the kernel issue. I installed the kali iso and loaded it onto my drive with rufus. Any help appreciated, thanks
