As title says, I am needing to get the bluetooth working on the kali 2.0 image for raspberry pi 3. Anyone had any luck with this yet? It would be so super helpful!

You may want to read into https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux...d238ef44565e61 ; I've not looked into it myself as I find the rpi3 board to be underwhelming and disappointing at best, but perhaps using the overlay will allow bt to work for you?
I have the same problem on Raspberry Pi 3. I use apt-get install bluetooth to install bluetooth and it doesn't work. it returns none using hciconfig command.
Ive been messing around with this and have been able to successfully activate bluetooth services but cant get the hciconfig or hcitools to do anything. the status also does not show me as having a BT device... i have not tried this in jessie, but im going to asap. i will also see if rolling edition shows any improvement.
Has anyone had any luck with this issue? I'm also running into it and haven't had any luck.
im just trying to get the bluetooth to work so that i can connect my bluetooth keyboard. any tips?
i've just tried to doCode:apt-get install bluetooth
