Kali Linux on Raspberry Pi 3 w/ PiTFT

Has anyone attempted to get Kali Linux working on a Raspberry Pi 3 with Touchscreen? I am not having any issues installing Kali on the RPi, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to set up the touchscreen. It doesn't seem like many people have done this for the raspberry pi 3, but I have found many guides online on how to do it for the raspberry pi 2. Attempting to use guides that work for the raspberry pi 2 end with my raspberry pi 3 booting to the rainbow splash screen. If any one has some guidance on how to set up the touchscreen, please share your knowledge!

    Hi Maxin8r95,

I've updated the Adafruit kernel package to make the PiTFT work with Kali on the Pi 3.
    It works like a charm:

You can find the new kernel package and step-by-step installation guides on the "Sticky Finger's Kali-Pi" page:

    Hope that helps,

    Hi luckyfrak,

    Sticky Finger’s Kali-Pi works like a charm.
Why don't you try the ready-to-go image:

Just post in the forums if you have any issues.

    Many thanks,
