Macbook Air Display Garbled During Graphical Install

    Macbook Air 11-inch Late 2010
Mac OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan
    NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB 1366x768, 1280x720, 1152x648

    Bootable USB of kali-linux-2016.1-amd64.iso
    refind-bin-0.10.2

Everything works ‘going live’ with the bootable USB. I want to install to a partition on the machine's internal HD but trying either ‘Install’ or ‘Graphical Install’ results in an unreadable garbled screen - see bottom photo - like an off-frequency thing. I’ve tried all three of the resolutions above.

    Any ideas?

P.S. These photos appear upside down - must I load them upside down so that when they get rotated they will appear right-side-up?

My display did that during the install on a Lenovo Thinkpad L530. After a few minutes, the screen cleared and went back to normal.

That's not working for me - but thanks for the response anyway.

Sorry it didn't work. My guess is that the built-in Kali video drivers aren't compatible with your hardware. The directions below might help
    http://docs.kali.org/general-use/ins...-on-kali-linux

If that doesn't work, I suggest posting an issue at bugs.kali.org and see if the Kali dev team can help you out.
