I've been trying to install Kali Linux on a Wintel W8 and haven't had any luck. I can't get the USB to even load at start up to go into the installation process. I think my main problem is lack of experience with EUFI whereas legacy is very easy to install other types of operating systems or has been in the past for me.
1. In the BIOS I set the priority of the USB to load at the top.
2. Secure Boot Mode: Disabled
3. I've also tried the EFI --> BOOT methods, but no luck with that either.
Has anyone else ever done this and had any luck?
I could also try to re-do the BIOS, but the problem is the USB won't load on startup.
