System updates on Nethunter

Can i download and install "android system updates" from google w/o breaking nethunter? I have the Google Nexus 6 (XT1100) by Motorola / Android version 6.0.1

Unfortunately, I don't think so. The android system updates use the factory recovery to install the updates. Part of the nethunter install had you install TWRP for the recovery function. I've even tried to manually download the update and unzip it to the system partition, but the install script looks for the current version of android subsystem and TWRP is built off of a older subsystem. This morning I tried pushing the factory recovery back onto the Nexus6 but the installs are still failing. I will update this thread if I come up with a solution.
