Hello,

Recently I've been having quite a lot of trouble with the latest version of Kali Linux, I've stayed up around 9 hours at the time of making this to find a solution to my some what unresolved problem.
I have Kali Linux 2016.1 set up on VirtualBox, on my Laptop that I received quite recently. (All drivers updated and what not.) For some reason, in the install process it likes to randomly freeze my computer,
requiring me to reboot my device. It doesn't happen at a select time to my knowledge, sometimes it even lets me get towards the end of the install process, and other times I can't even make it to adding the root user. I've installed Kali Linux on my desktop without any problem though, it doesn't freeze up or anything, zero problems. I'm willing to dig up for logs and what-not, I'll do anything that will help me solve this problem.

Laptop Specs:

CPU: Intel i7-5700HQ (2.70GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970M
RAM: 8 GB (Unknown Brand)

Thanks for any support!
