kali kernel version

hi;
kali has released version 2016.1 and first time I download it.... it has kernel version 4.4.... I install it and after some time it show update for new kernel in dist-upgrade and it update to 4.5;
now the file for download in kali.org/downloads, does it have the latest kernel version or I should update it after instal?

I'd run apt-get update, then apt-get dist-upgrade (or just apt-get upgrade, depending on your needs)

I know how to update it .... I want to know does kali update its iso file to newest kernel or after installing I should do it;

Ok, I misunderstood you. Far as I know, the kernel doesn't update itself during install, has to be done via apt-get commands.
