    Ettercap display special character in URL encoding

    I have try to setup the ettercap to test capturing user name and password. However if it was input special characters, the output will display URL encoding characters like this:

    input
    uname=admin, password=!@#$%

    ettercap output:
    CONTENT : uname =admin&pws=!%40%23%24%25

    Anyone have idea about this? Thank you!

    I haven't used ettercap in quite a while, but it appears it's not properly escaping/translating special characters. If that's the case, you'd have to report it to the dev team for a fix, or pull down the source and fix it yourself.
