Kali Rolling Update Issues

Hi,

Many problems after apt-get dist-upgrade on a 2016.1 live boot.

1. The Blackbird GTK theme is broken, mostly to do with the spacing of the tabs (File, Edit etc.)

2. NetworkManager-openvpn seems to only work half the time. Verifying with an IP check shows that sometimes the VPN isn't connected at all despite the connection showing in the top right.

3. A font was replaced with white boxes, making everything unusable.
Running the following fixed the issue.

apt-get install --reinstall fonts-cantarell

4. Logging out of root to try to get to a non-root account results in showing the boot screen of [ OK ]'s. I can only shut down when it's like this.

I've had some problems with a dist-upgrade recently. Have switched to plain upgrade for now.
