So I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen. 4 and apparently it's a known issue that when trying to install or live boot Kali it will get stuck at intel_pstate = hwp enabled.

I read that I have to go into the kernel parameters to change this. But since I'm a complete newbie to Linux I just have no clue how to go about doing that. I've seen guides done on how to do it from inside Linux but since I'm on a Windows machine and trying to run Kali off a USB I haven't found any guides on how to do that.

Any help is appreciated.
