Kali is showing weird symbols similar to this []

Hello!

Kali is showing weird symbols for example in the explorer (please see the attached image).
It's buggy because sometimes it shows through the locking screen.

Newest Kali-Version on Virtual Box (also newest version).

Try rebuilding your font cache and log out and back in:

fc-cache -fv
