Specifically the problem is with credential harvester/website cloning, which seemed to be working fine before I ran apt-get update and apt-get upgrade.

I am using Kali Linux Rolling on vmware workstation. I run into the problem at the cloning stage, either nothing will happen and I ctrl+C which will bring me back to options, or I will get an error message such as "could not clone this specific website, please check internet connection" (which I am sure my internet connection is OK) ...I am not doing anything differently from when it was working before I ran update/upgrade, so I'm assuming that's what caused the problem.

I've tried editing config by changing apache_server from =YES to =NO, but don't believe it made any difference. (Not sure if it was necessary, as I am just learning.)

Doubtful it means anything because both links lead to the same page, but something else I just noticed, trying with Facebook before posting the issue, when I input https://www.facebook.com/login it responds with "Cloning the website: https://login.facebook.com/login.php" does the fact that it changes the url from 'www' to 'login' contribute to any problems?

Either way, the same problem persists, it hangs at "this could take a little bit..." (something it didn't do before update/upgrade) and when I press ctrl+C this particular time, it just brings me back to options.

Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me!
