Okay everything seems to point to the fact that neither the builtin Wifi or the bluetooth will work for the wireless tools in Kali 2. So while the RPi 3 is bigger, badder and hotter, you will still need to get external wifi and bluetooth to monitor and transmit with the wireless tools.
Anyone have some favorite gear they know works with the RPi 3 for wireless testing?
