No wlan0 using WN722N with VirtualBox and Windows 10

I'm beginning to get really frustrated with trying to use a TP-LinWN722N USB WiFi dongle in a VirtualBox VM Guest and Windows 10 host.
I've tried every driver I could find for the WN722N and redid my guest Kali OS.
The stick works in Windows and can connect to a network. It is also captured by VirtualBox.
When I try ifconfig in Kali, wlan0 doesn't show up. Trying to bring wlan0 up using "ifconfig wlan0 up" gives "wlan0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device." It's also not on any other wlan interface.
    Results of lsusb:
    Code:
    root@kali:~# lsusb
    Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0cf3:9271 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11n
Does anyone know how to get the USB adapter working?
