Problems updating Kali2 - VMWare and Parallels
I am running into problems trying to do a "apt-get dist upgrade" on my Kali2 vm. I am running the VM under Parallels for Mac. When i tried it the first time, the upgrade completed, but the VM would no longer boot. When it tries to startup, I get "invalid path for Logical Volume". I figured I had done something wrong, so I just downloaded a fresh Kali2 VM, and this time tried it under VMWare Fusion.
Same problem. The update completes, but I get stuck on "Invalid Path for Logical Volume" ... "SMBus host controller not enabled!"
What am I missing? Has anyone else run into this?
