Touchpad not detected

In my ongoing saga of trouble with my Kali Linux install my touchpad is not detected. I have tried everything that has been posted online but can't seem to get it to work.
I install Kali 2016.1 on my HDD with Windows 10 as a dual-boot. In my setting for mouse & touchpad Kali does not even show a touchpad option, but when I use a USB plug-in mouse I can navigate using that but not the touchpad. The computer is a Samsung ATIV Book 9 900X3L (NP900X3L-K04US).

Maybe the same issue than new Elantech touchpad series, you can try to reset it at startup by adding "i8042.kbdreset=1" to yours kernel parameters :
