Text isn't text.

Hi all,

Installed Kali last night on my PC and as you can see from my picture, in some places instead of text I'm getting white boxes.

The operating system itself is great, I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue.

Looks like a font cache issue. Don't recall the command to rebuild the font cache, but search the forums and you'll find several solutions.

Try:

apt-get install --reinstall fonts-cantarell
